Lost in the Dark is launching a new webcomic, and we’re looking for writers! The
indie publishing house behind such critically-acclaimed graphic novels
"Video" and "Fragile Prophet" is debuting the weekly webcomic Populus Ink this April.
Each weekly strip will be a self-contained short story, between 4-6
panels in length, drawn by Video and Fragile Prophet artist Stephen R. Buell.
In an experiemental twist, however, each story will be written by a different
person. That’s where you come in!
We’re looking for short stories that fit this mold; four to six panels that
tell a story with a beginning, middle and end. No rules, themes or restrictions
apply, you can tell any story you want, as long as it can fit in four to six
panels. Drama, comedy, sci-fi, send us your story, and, if we like it, it’ll be
illustrated and posted as a Populus Ink webcomic.
The purpose of this webcomic is to have some fun with the webcomic format- an
endless supply of writers with a endless number of stories, all now have a
voice. If you’re interested, email us at populusink@lostinthedark.com with your
story, along with a title, and if we like it, we’ll hit you up with the details!
